JUNE 2026 ART CHALLENGE - design a Playstation 1 or N64 box art-
You can use low poly 3D or a cool illustration to create box art for a PS1 or N64 game. You'll want to capture the kind of art styles of the time. A game box art should imply the emotion of the gameplay. Is it a light hearted mascot platformer like Croc, or Mario 64, or Banjo Kazooie? Or a gritty fighter game like Mortal Kombat? Or is it an open world JRPG? If its a big world, youll want to imply that in the cover by having characters looking out over a vast landscape. Or possibly showcase the story elements in the cover image. You can draw it like a painted or line art 2d illustration, or model something in low poly 3d. Bonus points for designing a back cover with screenshots (overkill!).
